When choosing a residential apartment, our staff will be pleased to explain every option that is available to you. Certainly, each individual’s circumstance will vary according to what is most appropriate.

The basic payment sources are as follows, but are not limited to only those listed below:

Private Pay

Individuals may choose to use their personal funds to pay for all, or perhaps a portion of, the apartment rental. If they elect, there may be a second payer source.

Private Insurance

Depending on the kinds of personal insurance policy and the medical diagnosis, this may be an option for payment.

Medicaid

Medicaid is a payment source that is funded by both the federal and state governments for those individuals who meet eligibility requirements. Generally, a person must be a minimum of 65 years of age and must not have personal funds to assist with their expenses. This funding for residential care is called a Missouri Cash Grant Program, and assistance available for nursing care is referred to as the Vendor Program.

Veterans Benefit

The federal government has a program for those individuals who have had an honorable military service. There are several criteria areas that individuals must meet, and the amount that may be paid will vary according to each individual.
