Activity Programs

Keeping our residents in touch and connected with the community is a vital part of Indian Hills. From onsite church visits to meetings with local 4-H Clubs, our guests continue their service to the community. As a recent example, in 2005 Indian Hills residents and staff raised over $400 in a spur-of-the-moment bake sale to support the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Indian Hills Retirement Village is a four-level care facility, so our activities are designed to meet the needs of each unit and each individual on these units. Our goal is to help each resident maintain their highest possible activity level. We have a great number of volunteers from the community to help with activities, and they play a very successful and important part in activities. Our staff also takes pride in their interactions with residents and participating in activities. This unites the residents, staff, and the community, creating a homelike atmosphere at Indian Hills.
